Class 1 Stick Welders 25.00 to 29.00 hr West TulsaShifts Available Weekends 6 00am-6 00pm Friday-Sunday and some weekdays Weekends 6 00pm-6 00am Friday-Sunday and some weekdays Weekdays 6 00am-6 00pm 1 day off during the week Weekdays 6 00pm-6 00am 1 day off during the weekMust pass a 3G stick plate testClass 1 Welders are required to be safety minded highly productive experts who can cut fit and tack weld all parts of heat exchangers vessels and towersKNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must be a highly safety-oriented individual Minimum of 5 years experience welding pressure vessels or heat exchanger components Extensive knowledge of welding with SMAW GMAW GTAW FCAW & SAW thermal processes in the manufacturing of various types of pressure vessels and heat exchangers Ability to pass a weld qualification for each process Ability to read prints for both required specifications as well as dimensions Ability to weld within the parameters of a WPS PQR Ability to be proficient in arc gouging process Ability to be a self-motivated and highly productive employee who requires minimal supervision and who can efficiently execute a plan to make jobs happen on time within the hours given PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position will be exposed to welding fumes and gases and dust from grinder use of PPE imperative. Work area is not climate controlled so extreme heat cold may be experienced.
