The Concrete Laborer will perform many tasks that require physical labor on construction sites in all types of weather. May operate hand and power tools of all types air hammers earth tampers cement mixers concrete saws surveying and measuring equipment small equipment and skid steer loaders. May clean and prepare sites dig trenches set braces to support form work erect scaffolding clean up rubble and debris and tear out concrete Note - Pay Rate for this Job is 16 Hour Shift Timing - 1st Shift (Day) RESPONSIBILITIES We pull heavy cable from a reel down our beds up to 500 long while having to maneuver bed sleepers We operate hydraulic jacks to put tension on the cable We handle and tie reinforcing steel We handle metal and wood side forms up to 100 feet long We pour and finish various types of concrete We operate motorized forklifts We operate vehicles We operate sand blasting units to sand blast product and equipment We operate high PSI pressure washers We handle and work with hydraulic cementitious materials We handle and work with liquid and paste epoxy QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Must be able to pull up to 50 lbs Must have good hand to eye coordination Must be in good physical condition Must be able to operate a handheld acetylene cutting torch (or be willing to learn) Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding Must be able to work in heights of at least 120 Must be able to work with handheld tools Must be able to operate small and large power tools Drug screen required Background Check Required For More information please contact the Branch at - Call -3525899111 Email -1379-br(at)peopleready.com
