Scrum Master

We are looking for a Scrum Master to work on a networking software product that will be used around the world by Cloud Service Providers to build out their infrastructure.The Scrum Master is responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and enacted. Scrum Masters do this by ensuring that the Scrum Team adheres to Scrum theory practices and rules. They are a servant-leader for the Scrum Team and helps everyone change interactions to maximize value delivered to customers. Scrum Masters are trained as team facilitators and are constantly engaged in challenging the old norms of development while keeping the team focused on the goals of the Sprint. They are also responsible for leading the team s efforts in continuous improvement.This includes helping the team improve helping the team take responsibility for their actions and helping the team become problem solvers for themselves. Scrum masters also go above and beyond to eliminate impediments for their teams to help them get to done. Many blocking issues will be beyond the team s authority or will require support from other teams. This role actively addresses these issues so that the team can remain focused on achieving the objectives of the iteration. Responsibilities Provide ongoing support to release monthly milestones Facilitate scrum events across the entire program Support monthly check-ins and monthly roadmap reviews Remove impediments and help teams incrementally deliver features by protecting the team from disturbances to workflow productivity Maintain data integrity in rally for accurate tracking and traceability Provide ongoing support for maintenance releases Support continuous improvement efforts through retrospectives and follow up on next steps Provide detailed updates to stakeholders regarding our commitments Support continuous improvement efforts through retrospectives and follow up on next steps Take responsibility for managing risks dependencies between teams to achieve desired outcomes. When necessary act as the Product Owner or Team Member to ensure desired outcome is being achieved Be an active member of the agile community helping to identify and implement immediate and long-term improvements Drive scrum teams in the use of Agile Continuous Integration Continuous Deployment and DevOps approaches behaviors and practices across both production and non-production environments. This includes Code Packaging Configuration Management Infrastructure Provisioning Code Deployment Automated validation testing Monitoring and Alerting Automation and standardization at every stage Develop a culture of trust open communication and sharing of ideas between development operational and security teams Facilitate an environment of team spirit and excitement around constructive changes Work collaboratively with all practitioner stakeholders Continuously focus on pace of change service protection and business value Drive automation into every part of the value stream Track and communicate the team s progress (using burn-downs burn-ups cumulative flow etc.) Ensure there are clear processes in place to increase transparency and disseminate information regarding the team s status Provide visibility on status and progress particularly working with manager and product owner Track day to day progress Collect develop and analyze data and metrics--generate various reports and metrics for management Facilitate team and management agreement on definition of ready and definition of done.
