Bright Owlets Childcare & Learning Centre is looking for F T Early Childhood Educators.Position Info Position Early Childhood Educator Terms of employment Full-time Permanent Wage 18 20 hour (depending on experience) Working Hours 30-40 hours week Number of Positions 2 Work Location 320 East 43rd Avenue Vancouver BC V5W 1T3 Benefits 10 days paid vacation Great west group coverage Sick leave entitlement 4 days after one year or probation EI and pension contributions Job Duties Develop childcare programs to promote the physical cognitive emotional and social development of children Plan activities by reading stories teaching songs taking children to field trips of interest Create and maintain a healthy and safe environment for children Evaluate the abilities interests and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with parents and other staff members Detect the signs of potential learning or behavioral problems of children and prepare reports for parents guardians or supervisor Teach children to eat properly dress and appropriate toilet habits Build a good relationship with employees and community service providers working with children Supervise and suggest activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants Job requirements Language English Experience Experience as an Early Childhood Educator is an asset. Education College Certificate or Diploma in early childhood education is required. Certificate First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate and E.C.E.
