Exhibit Detailer Drafter - AutoCAD Exhibit Design Layouts - Westfield Center OH - JOB 21-00759 Salary Range 55K - 65K Permanent Position with Benefits. A manufacturer of custom exhibits & environments is seeking to hire a Detailer Drafter to convert designs into technical documents and plans including (but not limited to) construction drawings set-up drawings and floor plans. This person will work closely with project management design production and sales to satisfy both internal and client needs.REQUIREMENTSAssociates degree or equivalent certification. Working knowledge of basic case and cabinetry work hardware construction materials print reading and tool use. 5 years of experience with tradeshow exhibits museum exhibits corporate interiors lobbies and exhibit construction is strongly desired. The ideal candidate is someone who worked on the shop floor fabricating and assembling exhibits and has been doing design and drafting work for at least 5 years. MS Office (Word Excel Outlook) & proficient with AutoCAD. Must be able to work in a deadline driven environment. DUTIES Generating all technical documents including (but not limited to) diagrams layouts patterns plans and scaled drawings and set-up drawings. Ensuring that all construction techniques dimensions materials and components are specified on drawings as designed and estimated. Communicate with vendors regarding fabrication of components as necessary. Complete all projects prior to or by targeted deadlines. Updating documents to reflect any changes that had to be made while in production. Securing Structural Engineering Certificates if required. Maintaining accurate and organized files of all documentation produced. Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
