Sub Arc Welders NeededHours 4 30PM-3 00AM Pay 23 hr. DOE Location Tulsa Job Description Perform Shielded Metal Arc Welds (SMAW) in accordance with A.S.M.E. Code. Perform proper set up and positioning of parts on rolls fixtures or floor in a manner that will not damage gasket surfaces or other parts. Know how to identify SA-516-70 300 Series stainless steels 400 series stainless steels low chromes and specialty alloy plates and forgings. Know how to read and understand engineering drawings for the size and type of weld and correct weld procedure to use. Perform and pre-heat of parts when required. Perform proper weld bevel preparation carbon arc back gouging and cleaning of finished welds for inspection. Maintain control of assigned welders stamp and identify all welds. Check out and return weld consumable from the tool room. Know how to operate the welding power source. Keep all work areas clean. Care for tools and equipment and return to the tool room after work is completes. Advise maintenance of equipment that is not properly working. Use proper safety equipment and follow all safety procedures.
