Mailroom Machine Operator (Pitney Bowes)

Maximus is seeking a Pitney Bowes Machine Operator. The primary function of this position is the running and maintaining of the Pitney Bowes printer and envelope stuffing machine for the purpose of processing claimant appointment packages (CAPs) and all manner of VES reimbursement and facility checks. As a federal contractor Maximus is subject to Executive Order 14042 and the Safe Workforce Task Force s COVID-19 Workplace Safety Guidance for Federal Contractors and Subcontractors. In light of these requirements all employees will eventually need to be fully vaccinated as a condition of employment and new hires employees will be required to provide proof of vaccination. Primary Responsibilities Daily processing of claimant appointment packets to include all printing stuffing and shipping Daily processing of veteran mileage reimbursement checks as well as biweekly and monthly doctor pay and facility reimbursement checks Maintaining inventory of critical supplies for the Pitney Bowes printer and stuffer machine Maintaining all mechanical needs for the Pitney Bowes stuffing machine to include replacing all wear prone components Trouble shooting any mechanical or IT related issues with the Pitney Bowes machines and the Send Suite Live software Working and troubleshooting with Pitney Bowes Tech support and technicians on site Processing of all rejected files in the Pitney Bowes server to include sending CAPS manually Strict adherence to time schedules and timelines Must abide by HIPAA regulations by maintaining confidentiality of records and personal information Read and respond to emails in a timely manner Minimum Requirements High School Diploma some college preferred Experience with computer troubleshooting Mechanical ability to facilitate machine change over and maintenance Advanced analytical skills multi-tasking skills and detail-oriented Advanced reading and comprehension abilities Advanced written communication skills to include excellent grammar Advanced organizational and prioritization skills with strong ability to meet strict deadlines Ability to lift boxes and supplies weighing 20-30 lbs.
