A full service architectural & engineering consulting firm is seeking to hire a Survey Party Chief to be responsible for coordinating field survey operations which includes ensuring the safety of the crew equipment the accuracy of survey data and the completion of assigned tasks. Must have experience working on a wide variety of projects including boundary topographic surveys and construction layout. Strong computer and technical skills Strong communication skills (listening writing and verbal) Proven work history strong work ethic and team-player attitude Ability to work in all-weather climates. RESPONSIBILITIES Oversees the daily field operations of a survey crew Conduct land surveys and construction staking Organize and maintain field crew efficiency in meeting work schedules Accurately calculate and record field data Oversee and direct the operations of the project Maintain equipment and keep proper records of maintenance and repairs Train assigned personnel in the operations of equipment and procedures Monitoring work for compliance with plans and specifications Preparing written reports calculations client interface and related work items. Construction staking of heavy highway water & wastewater works underground utility installation and municipal infrastructure improvements Applicant must be willing to travel throughout Ohio and Northern Kentucky Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
