Systems Engineers supporting the Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) administered by Maximus make an impact everyday by managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure. To prepare you for this role the VES provides paid comprehensive training which ensures all new employees provide the highest levels of knowledge and professionalism. Proven experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g. VMware Virtual Box) Experience with monitoring systems Experience with automation software Solid scripting skills (e.g. shell scripts Perl Power Shell) Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers TCP IP) About Veterans Evaluation Services Now Part of Maximus
