Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen. Oversee kitchen staff and operations as well as inventory management work with vendors and suppliers and record and rotate food supplies etc. to avoid spoilage. Recommending special ideas for cooking. Plan menus determine size of food portion estimate food cost.
