Electrical Project Manager Electrical Construction Manager - Akron OH - JOB 22-00190 Salary 80K - 150K Permanent Position with Benefits A well-established electrical contracting company in the greater Akron OH area is seeking to hire an experienced Electrical Project Manager Electrical Construction Manager to help support their organization. This position will be a mix of on-site field supervision and office work (50 50). You will be responsible for managing multiple projects at various stages overseeing projects from pre-construction to closeouts. Project Managers will manage the bid process analyze blueprints specifications review proposals project requirements secure required permits utility services coordinate materials procurement ensure compliance with corporate policies and federal state laws provide status updates and maintain documentation records.Required Bachelor s Degree in Construction Management Civil or Electrical Engineering (Highly desired). 5 year s extensive experience knowledge of on-site construction management design and cost management as an Electrical Project Manager or similar position in Commercial Institutional Utility and Industrial environments. Have thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology equipment methods etc.) Ability to manage run multiple projects as required Estimating experience a PLUS Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Ability to present self in a professional manner and represent the company image. Demonstrated leadership and project success are expected. Ability to work in fast paced environment Organized with strong written and verbal communication skills. Advanced abilities in reading and interpreting plans and specifications Clean driving record.Description Assist the Project Superintendent making sure the project has the proper resources Plan out the project Track the job to be sure it is being performed according to your plan(Calls with Foreman and site visits) Track project schedule and budget (Microsoft Project and Spectrum) Communicate project progress to stakeholders Adjust baseline schedule throughout the project cycle Track change orders correspondence project issues and RFI s Schedule sub-contractors Meet with accounting on the progress of your jobs Provided division manager updates of the status of your projects Create job startup p book for your project Order material for the project Close out (Lessons learned) Perform job site safety audits Basic time and Materia Pricing Attend pre-Bids Write up purchase orders Meet with customers Assist with UVL (Unvouchered Liabilities) and R e-projectionsCandidates may be required to submit to a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
