These female jacks provide total modular interconnect by accepting both ends of reeiver and line cord plugs of any standard telephone style.The heart of the modular concept is a male plug and mating female jack receptacle and mating female jack receptacle. The female jack assembly consists of 27AWG stranded wire leads terminated on one end with a spade lug and a gold plated spring wire spliced to the other. These leads are positioned within a molded plastic housing to complete the jack assembly.Telephone operating companies benefit from the modular concept by a significant reduction of installation maintenance and repair costs.
