The PeopleReady located at Downers Grove Illinois 60515 is currently hiring a Stacker Job Description Are you looking for a full time job where you can be crossed trained and move up in the company A local steel manufacturer is looking for Stackers to start right away. 10 hour shifts 4 day work weeks Monday - Thursday. Training would be on first shift 6 30am-4 30pm then candidates must be able to transition to third shift 4 30pm-3am Monday - Thursday. Raises after three six months and a year. Vacation after 6 months. Point system for attendance. 40 hours guaranteed year round may be pushing a broom to stay busy. Note - Pay Rate for this Job is 19 Hour Shift Timing - 1st Shift (Day) 3rd Shift (Night) Responsibilities Maneuvering and stacking steel poles Sorting scrap metal Baling paper Shoveling excess Cleaning spills Qualifications & Experience There is no minimal educational requirement but specialized training can help laborers advance Must have the ability to sit or stand all day wait for the steel poles beams to come down the line fall onto the pile and they push pull them so they are stacked neatly so they can be tied up with a metal zip tie essentially. No skill required jut attention to safety.
