The PeopleReady located at Cambridge Ontario N1R 3C5 is currently hiring a PR 1290652 Warehouse Order Picker Job Description Our client is looking for individuals to join their team picking orders of vending machine items such as pop chips sandwiches etc. Hours Sunday 12pm to 8pm Tuesday Wednesday Thursday 2pm to 10pm. Pay Rate for this Job is 15.50 plus 4% vacation pay. Shift Timings - 2nd Shift (Evening) Job Responsibilities As an order picker you will pick various items ready for delivery drivers to deliver to various business s and replenish vending machines. (Snacks candy sandwiches pop chips etc).Also replenish existing stock. Pull and prepare orders for shipment delivering the proper paperwork packaging and quantity for each order to the required destination in shipping and receiving. Perform merchandise scan-ins and other required quality assurance steps that confirm the contents of each order while tracking inventory for the company. Receive verify stage and stock incoming material either independently or as part of a team depending on order size and daily staffing needs. Ensure the warehouse area is cleaned organized and that all safety procedures are being followed at all times by yourself and your teammates. Provide dependable shift-long coverage of the warehouse facilities to ensure order fulfillment operates as efficiently as possible for the duration of the warehouse associate s shift. Qualifications Great attitude and work ethic. Ability to lift up to 45lbs. Attention to detail and accuracy. Stable work history. Two work related references. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Legally eligible to work in Canada. 18 years of age or older.
