Project Manager Estimator - Material Take-Offs Labor Costs Custom Exhibits - Akron OH - JOB 22-00274Salary Range 45K - 55K Contract to Direct Hire or Direct Hire with benefits A well-established trade show exhibit and retail point-of-purchase display company is seeking to hire a Project Manager Estimator to their team. Candidates must be able to read construction drawings to estimate construction and show service costs. Position involves joining a small operations department. The position will report directly to the Assistant Manager and indirectly to the President. This can be either an experienced person or an entry level type person.REQUIREMENTS High School graduate (Associate or Bachelor s Degree is preferred) Prefer candidates to have 2 to 5 years experience in exhibits construction custom cabinetry estimating for interiors or other related experience. MS Office (Word Excel Outlook) experienced Some AutoCAD 3D design experience is desired. Must be able to read and interpret construction fabrication drawings. Good communication skills for vendor customer internal staff interface RESPONSIBILITIES Estimating jobs and purchasing materials Project management including value engineering projects and serving as a liaison between shop and operations design departments. Logistics and freight tracking. Analyzing and writing up closed cost sheets. Assist with Building maintenance and Safety programs. Additional operations and sales activities as directed. Assist Manager with Retail division operations sales and other activities.
