Shipping & Receiving Clerk - Akron OH - JOB 22-00342 Hourly Rate 20.00 - 23.00 HR Contract to Possible Direct Hire Akron Area Manufacturing Company is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Receives unpacks inspects and stores incoming materials and supplies. Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment. Documents damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation. Uses shipping records to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders. REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or GED required 1 years shipping-receiving experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Proficient in MS Office Product preferred. Fork truck lift truck and other equipment experience preferred. Must be dependable able to work with others and independently follow directions from supervisor and complete tasks accurately. Must be over 18 years of age. Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen. Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
