Product Engineer - Project Management Communications Documentation - Youngstown (Area) OH - JOB 22-00366Salary Range 90K - 120K Permanent Position with Benefits. A manufacturing company specializing in modular drive systems consisting of hydraulics power transmissions and electronics is seeking to hire a Product Engineer to be responsible for managing all technical and engineering matters concerning assigned products. This position will provide exemplary professional conduct expertise project management communications and documentation. The Product Engineer will develop skills to represent the company in the marketplace including provide prompt technical support to stakeholders internal and external.REQUIREMENTSBachelor s degree in Engineering Computer Science or closely related discipline. Solid analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Self-starter attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Ability to design components using engineering principles and standard practices. Ability to read draw and check component and assembly drawings using computer aided design software. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Outlook and CAD design software. Experience with hydraulic pumps motors and systems a plus. RESPONSIBILITIESSupport Production and Procurement Department with accurate bill of materials and work instructions to effectively procure components and produce pumps motors and valves. Understand the design principles of pumps motors and valves. Guide stakeholders toward proper use of assigned components. Understand limits and safe operating zones. Design special features to meet local market demands where acceptable ROI. Prepare product of bill of materials and engineering changes notices. Use company business tools or other technical documents to understand and prepare documents. Use business systems to ensure effective communication to internal stakeholders. Effectively use computer aided design software to draft and or check 2D and 3D component and or assembly drawings. Promptly and securely communicate information to customers suppliers and internal departments. Promptly and accurately respond to customer and internal stakeholders on detail technical information on pumps motors and valves. Use company catalog technical manuals and engineering drawings to quickly find required information. Design special components using engineering design principles and best practices to design. Prepare and maintain design calculations. Draft detail drawings using computer aided design software. Distribute to internal stakeholders and or suppliers. Approve supplier processes materials and practices adequate to meet design requirements.
