The ability to sign up for jobs right from our mobile app JobStack Pay Rate The pay rate for this job is 15 - 17 hour What you ll be doing as a Janitor Keep work area and supplies clean. Keep the entire plant facility and its grounds clean. Meet and exceed all regulatory requirements including CGMP s. Responsible for following cleaning procedures as outlined by supervisor. Generate accurate information for the required records. Responsible for using required safety equipment. Proper handling and storage of soap tools chemicals and other required materials for the job. Complete chemical training before using any hazardous chemical. Sweep mop and or vacuum floors of assigned areas. Wipe down walls tables light fixtures windows doors shelves lockers and machinery as assigned. Clean sinks toilets and urinals using proper tools and cleaning agents. Restock all toilet paper and paper towel holders and refill soap and hand sanitizer dispensers. Empty and clean trash receptacles as assigned. Change light bulbs as needed. Keep entryways clean and orderly empty ashtray and clear debris such as snow ice leaves etc. Report low supply levels to supervisor. Report and concerns or malfunctions with equipment toilets sinks water fountains etc. Perform any and all other duties that may be assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader. May be required to assist with production department responsibilities at times and will be a support for the Sanitation crew as needed on assigned shift. Available shifts Shift timings - All Available Job requirements EDUCATION and or EXPERIENCE Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three month s related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS The Employee has to have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos in English. The Employee has to have the ability to write simple correspondence. The Employee must have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Basic math skills are desired. REASONING ABILITY The Employee has to have the ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions as well as possess the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. COMPUTER SKILLS Computer experience is not required at this time. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by an Employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job While performing the duties of this job the Employee is regularly required to stand and reach with hands and arms and is frequently required to walk. In addition candidate must be able to lift stoop kneel climb and bend as required to perform duties outlined above.
