The ability to sign up for jobs right from our mobile app JobStack Pay Rate The pay rate for this job is 17.00 - 18.50 Hour What you ll be doing as a Punch Press Operator Operates pick and place type press efficiently and effectively to attain set standards Runs single stroke coil operations Maintains equipment and tooling with use of appropriate lubricants Cleans and maintains press area Performs quality checks using the proper measuring devices correctly during operation and complete quality records Complete appropriate paperwork including accurately labeling misc. items May require successful completion of Forklift certification program Other duties may be assigned Operates pick and place punch presses. Available shifts Shift timings-1st Shift (Day) 2nd Shift (Evening) Job requirements Physical requirements include the ability to bend twist stoop and reach and lift up to 50lbs Ability to work on your feet for 10hr shifts and complete assigned tasks on schedule Basic math skills ability to read measurements reading and writing skills needed Track record of good attendance Cleanliness and neatness of assigned areas continued improvement in overall performance Cooperation responsiveness dependability and proper attitude in dealing with others Conformance to company personnel safety quality and housekeeping policies procedures practices and work instructions Ability to perform tasks with little or no supervisory help. Require successful completion of punch press training. Requires basic math skills reading and writing skills and a good manual dexterity.
