Qualifications Required Valid Registered Nurse (RN) certification license in Michigan (MI)Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification licenseOverview What you need to know - 13 week assignment minimum (open to extension)- SICU experience strongly preferred- Patient Ratio 1 2- Must be flexible with schedule- Will need to study online modules and pass a test to qualify for this position- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience- Detroit MI HFHS campusJob Duties - Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care- Utilizes the nursing process of assessment planning implementation and evaluation to provide delegate supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family- Effectively communicates pertinent patient family information to health care team- Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutionsJob Skills - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit department to which staff is assigned- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services- Ability to effectively communicate with patients families and hospital personnelEducation 1. BSN preferred2. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing3. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans4.
