Arete Management Corp. is looking for full time Finish Carpenter for Saskatoon Saskatchewan 10 Positions available.Hours of work are Mon-Fri 40 hours week pay is 24 hour. Successful candidates must speak English. Must have secondary school diploma. Minimum work experience is 5 years hands on experience.Please send resumes via email to info(at)meridiandevelopment.caMain duties are as follows but not limited to -Read and interpret blueprints drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements-Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools-Measure cut shape assemble and join materials made of wood wood substitutes lightweight steel and other materials-New construction of large concrete or wooden buildings such as multi-storey apartments and hotels-Experience using power tools-Experience in finishing carpentry techniques including -Installation of wardrobes and cabinetry-Fit and installation of doors and windows including hardware-Fit and installation of trim moldings and casings-Installation of backlit mirrors-Installation of quartz or tile counter-tops and back-splashes-Fit and installation of custom handrails and guardrails-Construct feature walls of various materials and details-Deficiency work-Experience with the following would be an asset -Drywall repair including mudding and taping-Painting and paint touch ups
