Pakland Contracting Ltd. located at 6086 Russ Baker Way suite 110 Richmond British Columbia V7B 1B4 is urgently looking to hire 2 full time- permanent carpenters.Job Duties Read and interpret blueprints drawings Determine specifications and calculate requirements Prepare layouts according to building codes using measuring tools Measure cut shape assemble and join materials made of wood wood substitutes lightweight steel and other materials Build foundations install floor beams lay subflooring erect walls and roof systems Fit and install trim items such as doors stairs moulding and hardware Maintain repair and renovate wooden structures in residential and commercial buildings May supervise other construction workers. Education Requirements Completion of Secondary school is required Language at work English Experience Minimum 2 years of related work experience is required Salary 30.00 hour (40 hours week) Location Various Locations throughout Lower Mainland Area We provide free pickup drop off to and from work site location.
