This is an outstanding Vintage Art work titled Master Simpson by Arthur William Devis. It is in a very nice ornate Vintage frame that has some age I believe it to be original although I have not been able to confirm this. I am not certain how old it is but we have had it in our home for many years. This medium is textured board print in good condition. It would be perfect rather you re decorating for a certain era or period for your home or just love the classic Eleganance of the portrait. This classic print features rich colors and deep hues of a young boy and his little dog. The subject in the picture is James Alexander Simpson and his White Dog. This replica is of a work by A.W. Devis who lived 1762-1822 and this particular work has inspired a peaceful respite and great pleasure for thousands over the last century. We offer it for sale now as we must downsize. It is time for it to find a new home and you can enjoy it and pass it down for generations to your family You get this gorgeous artwork framed in the ornate Gold wooden frame. It is marked with a museum number 928 which is stamped in Red on back. This piece comes from our completely clean and smoke free home. It measures 20 wide x 24 long. Pickup for this item is off N.
