SUMMARY Management Business Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant for our fast-growing manufacturing client in Grand Rapids MI. The person will be responsible for ensuring that transactions of the company are recorded appropriately. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and analytical skills.RESPONSIBILITIES Reconcile and review financial reports records and general ledger accounts.Post journal entries and account analysis as part for month end close.Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts balance sheet reconciliation and bank reconciliations.Assist with performing monthly quarterly and annual financial close processes.Maintain all fixed assets records.Support other various accounting functions as assigned including inventory analysis regulatory filings management reporting and cost-savings analysis.Assist with special projects and ad-hoc reporting at the direction of the Manager.QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. CPA or MBA is highly desired.3 years of experience in accounting or finance is required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.Experience using ERP software Oracle Hyperion Microsoft Dynamics is highly desired.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.MANAGEMENT BUSINESS SOLUTIONS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
