Maximus is currently looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Assessors to join our growing team. As a Nurse Assessor you will conduct person-centered assessments in accordance with contract directives company processes and contract requirements. Must be able to commute into and cover one of the following counties within the state of Maine Androscoggin Kennebec Cumberland or York. Required Skills Abilities Knowledge and understanding of medical and or behavioral health diagnoses and prescribed medications Knowledge of community support programs long-term care assessment and level of care in medical behavioral health or related programs preferred Ability to collect data define problems establish facts and draw valid conclusions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and meet timelines Education and Experience Requirements LPN License in the state of Maine or hold a compact licensure One (1) year of clinical experience providing exposed to long term care Regional travel is required to perform in-person assessments
