Maximus is currently looking for a HR Manager to join our team at our Houston TX location. The HR Manager conducts organizational analyses builds business partnerships and contributes to the development and execution of HR and talent management objectives. This is a hybrid job opportunity in the Houston TX area. The chosen candidate will work from the Houston TX work location primarily and from home as well when required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct organizational analyses and build business partnerships and contributing to the development and execution of HR and talent management objectives Collaborate with HR team on business initiatives and objectives Manage implementation and administration of HR processes including recruitment selection onboarding orientation performance management employee relations individual and leadership development reward recognition compensation and benefits health and safety diversity retention succession planning and regulatory compliance Lead positive employee relations interactions and employee engagement activities Establish and measure HR metrics analyze and make recommendations for process improvement. Lead change management initiatives Devise and implement retention strategy to meet the needs of the business. Partner with organizational leaders to identify and establish career path opportunities Drive regulatory compliance including USDOL EEO and AAP requirements Minimum Requirements Bachelor s degree in related field required 5-7 years related professional experience required 3 years of previous experience supervising managing staff required Home Office Requirements Internet speed of 20mbps or higher required (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net) Preferred Windows or Mac (no Chromebooks) OS for Windows Windows 10 or Windows 11 OS for Mac Big Sur (11.0.1 ) Catalina (10.15) Monterey (12.3) Hardwired internet (ethernet) connection Private work area and adequate power source A second monitor is highly recommended for most positions
