Maximus is currently looking for a Registered Nurse Assessor to join our growing team. As a Nurse Assessor you will conduct person-centered assessments in accordance with contract directives company processes and contract requirements. In this role there is no direct hands-on care. We assess individuals in homes facilities and group homes for Long Term Care needs and facility placement. Must be able to commute into and cover one of the following counties within the state of Maine Androscoggin Kennebec Cumberland or York. Why join Maximus Flexibility everyone needs work life balance Competitive Salary we ve got that Insurance numerous plans available for you Retirement prepare for your future Paid Time Off we all need time to refresh & recharge Wellness Programs support your physical emotional and financial wellness Discounts save time and money Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for completing long term care medical health assessments within contract requirements Conducts on-site video call and or telephonic assessments to determine an individual s needs for services and supports eligibility level of care or related outcome Perform all job duties in compliance with Person First standards HIPAA guidelines and company confidentiality policies and procedures Travel may be required based on program contract requirements Required Skills Abilities Knowledge and understanding of medical and or behavioral health diagnoses and prescribed medications Knowledge of community support programs long-term care assessment and level of care in medical behavioral health or related programs preferred Ability to collect data define problems establish facts and draw valid conclusions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and meet timelines Education and Experience Requirements RN License in the state of Maine or hold a compact RN licensure One (1) year of clinical experience providing exposed to long term care Regional travel is required to perform in-person assessments Home Office Some work will be completed at home after assessmentsMaximus will provide laptop printer and cellphone Reliable high-speed internet service Minimum 20 Mpbs download speeds 50 Mpbs for shared internet connectivity Minimum 5 Mpbs upload speeds Private and secure workspace Training and Work Schedule Weekends and holidays require rotation or on call availabilityTwo weeks training via Zoom followed by in the field assessment training with 1 1 support Standard hours 8am- 5pm Eastern some flexibility available after training
