Pay Rate The pay rate for this job is 20 hour What you ll be doing as a Machine Operator Setting up and operating machines needed to build products based on work orders and supervisor s instructions Inspecting products for defects and machines for malfunctions Maintain a safe and clean work space Follow established safety rules and GMPs Available shifts Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day) Job requirements Education Minimum grade 10 Related Work Experience Minimum of 2 years related automotive experience Related Work Experience Skills Job Requirements Must have own transportation Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and or in a team environment Must be able to work all shifts Must be able to work in a dusty and dirty environment Must be able to read speak and write English Basic Math skills Must learn ERP system (PLEX) as required Must have an understanding of machine functionality and basic mechanical skills Safety Must abide by the Occupational Health and Safety Act Regulations Must abide by all Safety Policies and Procedures Must abide by the Environmental Policy along with the 3R (reduce reuse and recycle) procedures Must always report all unsafe acts Must participate in plant meetings and continuous improvement initiatives Must complete all requirements as outlined in the HR Training Matrix HRS-F001 Must contribute to a safe clean and comfortable work environment that complements the Occupational Health and Safety Act by ensuring the principles of the 6S discipline (simplify separate sanitize standardize support andsafety) are supported and adhered to.
