The ability to sign up for jobs right from our mobile app JobStack Pay Rate The pay rate for this job is 190 Day What you ll be doing as a Deckhand Worker General Housekeeping and upkeep of the vessel including washing painting and cleaning Tow work including building and rigging tow. Fleet work including preparing barges for delivery. Assist the captain with required vessel reports in compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Stand watch and look for other boats and dangerous obstructions in the water as well as navigational aids like buoys or markers. Follow the Captain s orders and help senior deck officers Ensure best environmental practices while working Available shifts Shift timings -1st Shift (Day) and3rd Shift (Night) Job requirements No experience necessary Ability to follow direction and execute tasks under the supervision of captain or mate. Ability to work in a flexible schedule Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team Must be able to work in all types of climates Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted and physically preform all job duties required.
