Pen-Kalamkari or Hand-painted kalamkari is an-ancient heritage craft of India, mainly performed in Sri-kalahasti located in Andhra Pradesh. Kalamkari is derived as Kalam which means Pen and Kari which refers to craftsmanship. The Kalamkari art depicts epics tales from Hindu mythology like Mahabharata or Ramayana and Hindu God and Goddesses. It also includes floral motifs, animal forms, and villages background.
