My name is Araina Brown and I am the Youth Coordinator for the Back to Our Future program an initiative of UCAN a non-profit organization based in Chicago. At UCAN we are dedicated to aiding and empowering the youth of our community many of whom come from challenging backgrounds and broken homes. Our primary mission is to equip these young individuals with the resources and skills they need for both job readiness and schooling. This includes not just imparting skills but also providing them with essentials such as clothing shoes toiletries and other necessary items.
