Rogers Electric is looking for full-time Machinist at 1990 Connolly AvenueBathurst NB E2A 4W7 Canada. There are 2 positions available. Main duties are as follows but not limited to Read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints charts and tables or study sample parts to determine machining operationto be performed and plan best sequence of operations. Calculate dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces Set up operate and maintain a variety of machine tools to perform precision non-repetitive machining operations such as lathes milling shapers or grinders drilling precision grinding and other operations. Fit and assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments May set up machine tools for use by machining tool operators. Hours of work are 40 hours a week Mon-Fri (overtime pay after 44 hours). Pay is 26.50 per hour. Successful candidates must speak English and havecompleted secondary school.
