Are you an experienced MedSurg nurse seeking a new and exciting opportunity in an acute care hospital setting We have a fantastic position for you A reputable healthcare facility is currently seeking skilled MedSurg Registered Nurses to join their team in Seattle WA.Responsibilities Provide exceptional patient care in a MedSurg unit within a tertiary hospital setting with a minimum of 100 beds. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans. Monitor patient conditions administer medications and assist with treatments and procedures. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and charts. Educate patients and their families on medical conditions and post-hospital care. Requirements A minimum of 1 year of recent nursing (RN) experience in an acute care hospital setting is mandatory. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is required. Applicants must hold a valid Washington state RN license or compact license or be willing to obtain one before the start date. Candidates should currently be employed as an RN in an acute care setting (home health or rehab experience will not be considered). Education Licenses Certifications Must possess a current WA state RN license Health Care Provider level CPR certification and a Basic Life Support (BLS) card at the time of employment. Specialty certifications such as ACLS PALS NRP and or PEARS may be required by the facility or department and are preferred. NCLEX certification is required for TN Visa candidates.
