Maintenance Mechanic - Industrial - Cleveland OH - JOB 23-00835 Pay Range 20.00 - 30.00 HR Permanent Position with Benefits. 1st shift working hours Monday - Thursday 6 00am - 4 30pm A manufacturer of specialty industrial coatings is seeking to hire a Maintenance Mechanic to install maintain and repair machinery equipment physical structures piping and electrical systems in commercial or industrial establishments by performing the following duties. REQUIREMENTSAssociate s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. 3 to 5 years experience working in a general maintenance type of role. Or equivalent combination of education and experience. Seeking talented candidates that can maintain and fix equipment and machinery but also experience with facilities maintenance and housekeeping ex Painting Cleaning etc. Industry related experience a plus. Read write comprehend communicate and perform basic math. Work at extended heights on platforms at ceiling and roof levels including the use of fall protection devices when required. Enter into confined spaces. Comply with all safety and regulatory requirements and company polices. Maintain a safe neat and orderly work area in accordance with safety and environmental regulations RESPONSIBILITIESPerform preventative maintenance and repairs of machinery including mechanical electrical pneumatics and hydraulics. Repair or replace pumps hoses and various liquid metering systems Layout assemble install and maintain piping systems. Repair and maintain physical structure of establishment including building and property grounds. Install program or repair automated machinery and controllers (PLC s). Install and repair electrical apparatus such as transformers wiring electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment. Operate Powered Industrial Trucks and various shop and hand tools including but not limited to band saw drill press cutting torches grinders hammers saws etc. Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
