Process Safety Engineer

SUMMARY Management Business Solutions is seeking a Process Safety Engineer for its client in Illinois. This individual would be responsible for supporting the manufacturing staff while implementing the process safety management program. RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure organization is in compliance with OSHA PSM EPA RMP standards. Lead all hazard analyses when required. Participate in investigating incidents and provide corrective actions. Prepare assessments and audits reports as needed. Review and provide guidance to new projects and existing processes. Participate in PSM compliance audits. Conduct learning and training sessions. Develop and mentor other employees to help improve safety capabilities. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering required. Master s degree preferred in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. 3 years of experience within process engineering industrial engineering required. Be familiar with OSHA 1910.119 PSM EPA and RMP required. Proficient in Microsoft Office products. Proficient in RAGAGEP standards. Ability to communicate both verbal and written.
