As a PeopleReady associate you ll benefit from Connections and experience with some of the top companies in your area Great benefit package options Get matched to jobs quickly Competitive pay and steady schedule The ability to see your schedule and track your hours right from our easy-to-use app JobStack Pay Rate The pay rate for this job is 20 - 25 hour What you ll be doing as a Production Painter Prep Leader Managing the department and keeping it efficient to properly supply the shop with painted parts on time Organize and put away items that are bought in Organize and clean Paint Department Maintain and update missing parts list for each Rig Pull paint and stage rig components Communicate with the assembly department to coordinate lists of missing items Managing the flow of parts to outside powder and paint venders ensuring all parts sent out are documented and received Quality Control Working with suppliers to receive needed equipment and materials in to keep the department operational Available shifts Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day) Job requirements Proficient in painting techniques Ability to mix paint colors according to specifications Experience with different types of painting equipment Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations Attention to detail and quality control Ability to read and write Ability to use a tape measurer Ability to do math and count Ability to lift items from floor to shelf Ability to effectively stage and organize items Experience painting in a commercial application Experience with prep work both Mechanical and chemical etching Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Good communication skills with vendors Background Check Required Drug Test Required Ready to take control of the way you work Complete our application to join the PeopleReady team today.
