Retired teacher and caretaker seeking 2bed 2 bath home

My mother and I live together with our charming small quite polite and very clean cats. Mom has lived in Washburn for 55 years. My father passed away last year and we have sold our 2 acres of riverfront property and our ancestral home. I am my mother s full-time caretaker. I am also a certified high school English teacher and will be substituting in the Bismarck school system as I have in the past. Our closing date is November 30th so we need to move into a new place on Dec 1st. Our needs are as follows 2-3 bedrooms Minimum 2 bathrooms preferably one with a walk-in shower Cat friendly (our cats are indoor cats and are very polite - they have never destroyed or damaged anything) Unit must be on the first floor or accessible by elevator - mom walks well but has trouble with stairs. She can easily do a few steps here and there but a walk-up apartment is not viable. A townhouse arrangement with one bedroom bathroom on the second floor would be just fine as long as she had a bedroom bathroom and access to the rest of the home on the first floor. As I have been a full-time caretaker for my folks I have not had much income in the past few years. Mom has her steady retirement income. We both have pretty bad credit due to some unfortunate circumstances. With the sale of our house however we will have a substantial amount of savings and are more than happy to pay rent in advance if our credit and income are questionable - we can pay for six months or even a year up front on December 1st if that works better for our landlord.That s all I can think of for now.
