Growing meat processing company located in the city of Industry is in need to hire a temporary person for the Customer Service Rep. position.The assignment will be for approximately 3-4 months. The hourly pay is 17-19 depending on experience and skillset.For more information please call text Becky at 714-679-2979.Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Must be open to work overtime as needed Job Duties Coordinates the release shipping of any customer orders that are on hold due to late payments. Attaches copies of freight charges to all sales representatives sales order copies so that they can review freight cost of each order. Enters all customer purchase orders for processing. Reviews all freight invoices to ensure accurate freight rate is charged. Schedules any product returns with trucking company as well as with customer to ensure timely returns. Contacts carrier to determine any issues and requests that corrections be made to the freight invoice. Invoices the orders making sure all weight sheets are attached. Enters lot date for Quality control purposes. Gathers all information (lot PO case count) for purchases and sales. Submits all documents and information to the Quality Control Department. Contacts customers buyers if product return is necessary. Enters employee orders and ensures accurate pricing. Invoices employee orders Processes labels for FedEx UPS for samples and packages sent by sales team and other departments as needed. Prepares sample requests when needed for sales department. Requests pick up of packages sent via FedEx UPS if needed. Ensures Shipping carrier requirements and regulations are met. Reviews purchase orders and shipment contents prior to releasing them from our facility. Reviews freight rates and other transportation costs to keep working costs low. Notifies customers if shipments are delayed. Responds to shipping complaints lost items damages. Executes logistics plan to move products and packages to reach destination on schedule. Tracks shipment details locations ETAs. Inform management of ongoing customer issues. Work with export shippers and trans loaders to execute bookings and ensure vendors suppliers service providers payments are processed according to terms. Executes required export documentation for multiple accounts in various stages of completion in a highly time sensitive environment. Obtains export certificates from various government agencies in compliance with each shipment. Ensures compliance with customs exports applicable foreign trade importation laws as well all applicable federal transport regulations. Works with QC department for export document verification. Audits export files for compliance and scan into database. Works with managers and team members to implement new strategies and initiatives. Works under general supervision. Performance Requirements Full time Schedule may vary by departmental needs. May be required to work overtime as assigned and approved by Supervisor. Adherence to all Company and policies and procedures. Strength demands Light work. Includes exerting up to 15 pounds of force occasionally and sitting at a computer desk to a significant degree. Education Experience High School diploma or Technical Certificate. Must have 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word Excel and Outlook etc.). Strong analytical organizational and communication skills (i.e. oral and written). Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Ability to communicate effectively with other teams members. Bilingual in Spanish and English (Spoken and Written).
