Read and understand blueprints and assembly drawings. Develop a basic knowledge of commercial and industrialHVAC equipment Use a variety of measuring instruments including tapemeasures squares and level Use a variety of hand and power tools including tin snips screw guns drills and grinders Use a MIG welder for tacking and stitch welding Use a variety of fabrication equipment (shear brake press notch machine etc. Assemble air handler equipment base frames wall panels cabinet and internal components Operate material handling equipment including forklift crane and purmp cart Maintain shop and work areas in a clean safe andorganized manne Work efficiently effectively and safely Other duties as assigned Available shifts Shift Timings - 3rd Shift (Night) Job requirements Able to work in an environment with many distractions maintaining a high level of accuracy and safety whileperforming your duties. Secondary school diploma or equivalent 2-3 years experience in a manufacturing or constructionenvironment Experience working on HVAC equipment an asset Basic knowledge of assembly manufacturing equipmentand processes Knowledge of fabrication equipment (shear brake press cut to length line notch machine etc. Experience with sheet metal & metal fabricationprocesses Ability to lift heavy parts (50 lbs.) and stand for longperiods of time Ability to work in a team or group environment andindependently with minimal instruction Basic math reading and computer skills Ability to work under pressure and short deadlines Experience with industrial painting is an asset Own a pair of CSA Green Tag Steel Toe Boots required Ready to take control of the way you work Complete our application to join the PeopleReady team today.
