Sought after US made rare Rocktron Piranha hi-gain preamp in great condition.used exclusively for studio recording applications. Tubes installed have very low hours and have plenty of use left. The high gain is where this preamp shines. This preamp is tonally based on the Mesa Rectifier It is becoming more difficult to find something similar to this one-rack unit nowadays ... it is an all analog 250 Volt design uses 2x12AX7 tubes preamp with three channels and includes clean classic and modern distortion plus has an active EQ with parametric mids and 99 programmable MIDI banks. It also has effects loop and built-in HUSH noise gate.
