Quality Assurance Technician - Canton Ohio - JOB 24-00053Hourly Rate 20.00- 24.00 HR Permanent Position with Benefits A well-established hand tool manufacturer located in Canton has an immediate need for a Quality Assurance Technician.Requirements High School Diploma or GED Must have 1 year experience as a Quality Technician Experience with inspection tools (calipers height gages CMM and surface plate inspection techniques) Must be able to read blueprints. Must be familiar with CAD to enter parameters in inspection software. Ability to work independently as well as work in a team environment. 1 st shift 7am-3 30 pm Monday-Friday Key Responsibilities Conducts daily inspections and testing activities using a variety of inspection tools and techniques supports production team as needed. Inspects materials received finished products and work-in-process of fabricated metal products to ensure conformance with drawing specifications. Performs First Article Inspections and prepares First Article Reports. Calibrates inspection equipment and maintains records in Gagepack database. Performs 100% inspection and adjustments on some lots as required by customer Maintains inspection records according to company & customer standards. Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen. Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
