I am a piano teacher looking for new students to share my music experience with New school year is finally here and it s a perfect time to get back into the groove and pick up some music skills.Piano is one of the most versatile musical instruments that is simple to understand yet hard to master.So challenge yourself in a hands-on experience that tests your coordination and produces sonorous melodies that everyone can enjoy.I offer in-home sessions at affordable rates and a flexible negotiated schedule. I will travel to you Fairfax Falls Church Arlington Alexandria and nearby areas.All ages are welcome to start or to continue their musical training.A little bit about myself-My name is Zakhar Zakharevich and I have studied music theory and practice for upwards of 15 yearsin Russia and the United States with a focus on piano and cello performance.Beginning with a comprehensive music study course in Okhta Music Lycee in St. Petersburg Russia I continued learning under the instruction of Miron Yampolsky (student of Mstislav Rostropovich)after immigrating to the US.In the US I have participated in many performance competitions placing 1st in a number of them.Over the years I have composed a wide selection of music for piano as well as in the electronic medium.A member of the AYP Orchestra I have also done select performances with the WBS Orchestraand even written music for them.I studied composition and piano performance at James Madison University.You may contact me by phone or e-mail (571)-340-6157zakharevichpiano(at)gmail.com
