SUMMARY Management Business Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for its client in the Lexington NE area. This person would be responsible for directing and coordinating engineering activities. RESPONSIBILITIES Implement programs processes and procedures. Ensure that all manufacturing support is completed in a timely manner. Must understand implement and enforce safety policies and procedures when leading projects and teams. Responsible for teaching and implementing lean systems and methodologies. Lead and mentor production supervisors and other employees in continuous improvement initiatives. Lead and mentor employees towards root cause solutions of quality issues. Lead or assist with Kaizen projects. Develop and deliver presentations training for internal and external use as required. Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods. Ensure that the manufacturing routes are accurate and represent the most efficient way to complete a part. Ensure that all shop support programming represents the most efficient way in which to process the parts. Support the manufacturing engineering needs for all shifts. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s degree in manufacturing Process Mechanical Engineering or another related field required. 4 years of engineering experience required. Prior experience in continuous improvement initiatives preferred. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written. Proficient in Microsoft applications.
