Ohio based company is seeking to hire a Structural Engineer for design and field customer interaction and site inspections. (BSCE P.E preferred) Remote work from your home office or Akron or Columbus Ohio business locations.REQUIREMENTSBachelor Degree Civil Structural (BSCE ) Remote work from your home office (near our Akron or Columbus Ohio locations is preferable) Entry level engineers will be considered BSME or related engineering field may be considered 0 to 15 years experience as a structural engineer for facilities (Professional Engineering license is a strong plus) Knowledge of construction industry & structural steel concepts and design Calculation knowledge with Aluminum Glass Flat Sheet Structural support Forward thinker for unique and alternative structural system design of building envelopes facades curtain walls and cladding Up to 25% local and domestic travel ( 1wk mo.) for client consulting support field inspections and photo documentation (typically Ohio Boston MA Connecticut and Philadelphia PA) Exceptional people communication skills for customer interaction strong verbal & written consultant skills CAD proficiency AutoCADD Autodesk Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
