A leading company who specializes in specialty doors and windows is seeking a qualified Engineering Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have production experience and strong skills in developing and overseeing projects from customer requirements to delivery to the customer. The project manager will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels ensuring that our goal goals are achieved.Schedule Monday-Thursdays 7 30am-5 15pm Friday 7 30am-11 30am Full Time Temp - Hire Pay Rate - 31 For more information please reach out to Becky at 714-679-2979.Objectives of this roleReview and understand all customer requirements associated with the assigned project and provide timely submissions of designs that meet the requirements. Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment identifying schedules creating shop drawings management of approvals and releases and implementation plans including risk mitigation. Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope schedule and budget. Analyze project status continually and when necessary revise the scope schedule or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met. Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes. ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks Review technical information provided by the customer through Regional Sales Managers for accuracy completeness and manufacturing concerns Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources including vendors and researchers Collaborate with customers and internal manufacturing to achieve a design that meets customer requirements and can be manufactured efficiently with in-house capabilities Report project outcomes and or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues as necessary according to project work plan Monitor all project activities and work in accordance with the approved timeline and quickly resolve issues that impact a timely delivery of the project Required skills and qualificationsFour or more years of project management experience CAD experience in the detailing and design of product components and assemblies (sheetmetal design experience a plus) Experience in broad collaboration with customers Sales team Production team and external partners Experience in the product development of a manufactured product (building architectural products preferred) Exemplary attention to detail with prior examples of delivering projects meeting time cost and quality metrics Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines Proven success working with all levels of management Strong written and verbal communication
