Machinist (Carbide Grinder) - 2nd shift - Positions (3) - Canton OH - JOB 24-00282Hourly Range 22.00 - 40.00 HR Permanent Position with Benefits Busy Canton Machining Company seeks experienced Machinist -Carbide Grinders who have solid math skills to include Knowledge of trigonometry algebra geometry calculus statistics and their applications. 2 nd shift is 4 30 pm 3 00 am Mon Fri. There is also a 2.00 HR shift differential for 2 nd shift.Educational Requirements High School Diploma GED Machining on-the-job experience and or certification from appropriate vocational school. Candidates must be able to read blueprints and work instructions set-up and operate grinding machines such as surface and universal. Candidates will select grinding wheels according to specifications (shape & grade) adjust bevel and taper select cutting tool speed and feed rate measure sharpened cutting tool to meet specifications designs modifies makes and repairs special tooling brazes or solders carbide tips to cutting tools. Candidates should have solid knowledge of machine tools and materials. Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
