You should be skilled in positioning workpieces manually or utilizing overhead or jib cranes. A keen eye for detail is essential as you ll inspect surfaces for defects. Must be able to select the appropriate grade of abrasive wheel disk and die grinder bits based on specifications and metal condition. Operating power tools proficiently including starting the tool and effectively removing scratches laminated metal excess weld material and burrs is part of the role. Additionally loading trucks chipping or grinding out pits or cracks and replacing worn abrasive disks wheels and die grinder bits are tasks within your scope.
