In this role you will Service repair rebuild and diagnose mechanical systems for gas diesel-powered automotive heavy equipment and power tools. Operate a motor vehicle & fuel truck. Operate a fuel truck. Perform skilled mechanical work including the following systems Preventive maintenance Tires and tubes Wheels Rims Cranking systems Lighting systems Cooling systems Fuel systems Hydraulics What You BringClass A Commercial Driver s License with Tanker (N) endorsement. (If you don t have this still apply You can get it within 360 days of hire through our on-the-job training program). Experience troubleshooting and repairing 1 of the following light medium heavy duty or farm equipment brake components. Experience performing preventive maintenance on 1 of the following light medium heavy duty truck or heavy equipment. Diagnostics experience with basic electrical systems and proper wiring repairs. Basic hydraulic system repair experience including component replacement and hoses. Knowledge of diagnostic software tools and equipment for trucks and heavy equipment. Steel toe safety shoes. Ability to work in emergency situations and bad weather such as snow ice tornadoes hurricanes etc. that may lead to working extended daily hours weekends and holidays. Ability to perform work meeting all safety regulations. Ability to prepare and maintain paperwork related to employment equipment repair inventory and service records. You can understand written and verbal instructions. Strength and agility to move parts and materials to repair and maintain equipment. You can safely operate equipment for testing purposes. Demonstrated commitment to a safe working environment by leading by example. Ability to read and interpret Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) manuals. NotesWe will conduct a pre-employment drug screening and background check for your past 2 years about controlled substances and alcohol testing. We may require current certification by the EPA as a Type I II III or Universal Technician.
