Production TechnicianPay 17 hr.Hours Monday-Friday 7AM-3 30PM (Saturdays as needed)Job type Temp to HireLocation Oklahoma City OklahomaWhat you ll be doing As a Production Technician you will be at the heart of the manufacturing process driving the chemical stripping plating and overall production of high-quality components Your role is critical in ensuring that every part meets standards maintaining the integrity of production lines and supporting the seamless operation of the shop. You ll be hands-on making things happen while upholding the highest standards of safety precision and efficiency.Must Have Qualifications Ability to set up operate and monitor stripping and plating tanks ensuring each process is completed accurately. Proficiency in inspecting parts using precision tools like micrometers and calipers to ensure they meet specific standards. Experience in maintaining the production line including managing chemical tanks keeping the area clean and overseeing chemical storage. Knowledge in processing parts through various plating lines including hard chrome plating with careful attention to detail. Skilled in using hand tools and measuring instruments to maintain and improve production processes. Commitment to following safety regulations and keeping the work environment safe clean and organized. Willingness to assist coworkers and contribute to a smooth workflow. High school diploma or equivalent experience in manufacturing is a plus. Strong math skills attention to detail clear communication and good problem-solving abilities. Ability to read write and understand English. Physically capable of tasks such as sitting climbing kneeling and safely using PPE gear. Comfort working with caustic and corrosive chemicals. Ability to regularly lift 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Must have 20 20 vision with or without corrective lenses.
