Automation Engineer - Akron Ohio - JOB 24-00622Salary Range 90k - 110k Permanent Position with Benefits. Akron Ohio plastic injection molding manufacturer is seeking to hire an experienced Industrial Automation Engineer skilled and knowledgeable with electro-mechanical assemblies work cell organization and layouts assembly procedures methods tools and fixtures.REQUIREMENTSBSMET or BSEET strongly preferred Programming of PLCs Proficient with 3-D CAD to design mechanical and electrical automated systems Understands Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines Computer proficiency with Microsoft suite of products (i.e. Excel Word PowerPoint etc.) 2 years experience in an industrial manufacturing environment (plastic injection molding preferred) Program PLCs Recommend mechanical and automated cost savings to production methods Supervise and support Technicians ads needed Solid mechanical hydraulic pneumatic plumbing and electrical knowledge and skills Troubleshoot production issues Assist with new product quotes knowledge of maintenance equipment hydraulics electrical systems injections molding equipment building maintenance preventative maintenance systems and techniques Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
